sam here.
i feel really bad that i haven't written on this blog yet, seeing as i am one of the sams squared. i would like to say that i have been too busy to spare a few minutes to write, but it would not be true. more accurate would be to say that i have simply not allocated the time to writing on said blog. bah, enough of this mindless chatter. on to business.
so, we finally made ourselves a budget for our married life, and it wasn't nearly as bad as i thought it would be. if everything goes according to plan, we should be able to survive as a married couple, at least for the summer. it will get harder during the school year, but it will still be doable. honestly, it made me really happy to make the budget. it was fun to think more about our life together and yet be down to earth planning how we are going to do the everyday things. yes, it was a little tedious, but very exciting at the same time. its like one of those times when you again realize that, yes, you are getting married soon. (^_^)
on the other hand, i will say this. dating is fun. marriage is fun, or so i have heard. but getting married is one of the hardest most stressful things i have done, and if it wasn't for the fact that afterwards i get to be married i probably wouldn't do it. all the planning and juggling of opinions and desires that has to go on is very taxing: it's on wonder that i'm tired all the time. but i think it will all pay off in the end.
let's see. so far we have our reception in progress, invitations in progress hopefully soon to be finished, a place to live, a budget, jobs lined up for the summer, samantha is almost done working out everything for the dress, we have found the rings we want. i think we are doing pretty good as far as planning goes. there is still a lot to do, but its all do-able. i enjoy planning it all out, i just wish that it wasn't so stressful.
thanks for reading. talk to you all later.
