Best Blogger Tips

Our Stats

We began our little Slaugh family chapter on May 1, 2010, in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple about 2 and half years ago! Sam stays busy working for Ralcorp Frozen Foods (better known as the people who make cookies for Lofthouse), creating all sorts of fun new recipes to go out for production. Samantha also stays pretty busy, working over in the laboratory blood bank at St. Mark's Hospital. Jayson is 1 and a half years old and growing up so quickly--he never ceases to amaze us! Maxwell is just one week old, but has already brought a fun new dynamic to our house. We love music, making new friends (that means YOU!), eating good food, being with our super awesome families, and each other :]

Three in a row

So, Sam wins the award for writing three blog posts in a row, without even being asked to. (^_^) Yeah for Sam!!! Anyway, after moving out of Idaho, we have been temporarily living with my in-laws, which has been a lot of fun for everyone, I hope. I guess I should say that it has been a lot of fun for me and just hope that everyone agrees.
Moving on, lots of fun. I think Jayson has enjoyed it lots too, because he has been able to spend more time with his cousins than he ever has before. As far as I can tell, they are all enjoying it, especially Mayce.
She has really seemed to enjoy having someone around that is smaller than her, but still big enough that they can do some of the same things. Here they were watching Tom and Jerry together. Jayson looks huge, but he really is smaller than Mayce. Of course, it didn't last too long because Jayson decided he needed to follow me up the stairs for something, but it was nice while it lasted.

But as is always the case when you are living with someone, there are rules to be learned about which things you are allowed to play with, and sometimes you have to go in time out.
Time out made Jayson really sad.
He has been good about taking naps while he is here. Or maybe it's just that we weren't primarily in charge of putting him down for naps in Idaho because he was at daycare most of the day. He definitely lets us know when he is tired though.
Well, Samantha has more pictures of recent days, so I shall let her put those up when she gets a chance.
Have fun everyone.
